Bullying!

Ok so maybe I'm late but all of this virtual bullying has hit close to home with me.

Whenever I was in high school I dreaded waking up in the morning to go to school.  I knew the day would just be the same as the day before where I would be constantly made fun of.  I never wore the right clothes because my parents didn't feel the need to spend $50-$100 on a pair of jeans that I'll admit I'd just ruin.  Whether I'd get paint on them or mud I was a tomboy and had hardly any respect for clothing back then, old worn in jeans and t-shirts were just enough for me but that didn't stop my spirit from being broken by the comments.  I wasn't from a rich family but my daddy sacrificed a lot for his job!  I wasn't the prettiest girl, I had the uncontrollable curly/frizzy hair, I had/have crooked teeth because braces weren't affordable and at the time I passed out at the mention of a dentist or orthodontist (I have since overcome this fear and am in the works on trying to figure out how to get invisaligns so that I can later get vaneers over my teeth if possible.)  I had a horrible unibrow (remember tomboys didn't give a shit about the girly things) and yes a had dark hair above my lip which is natural in my family because we just have really dark hair but waxing and nair work just fine now!  Yes I'm opening up and this isn't something that I would normally ever do so if you have something rude to say please just don't comment because it will make you no better than the people I went to high school with.  I had such a broken spirit in high school that I was lucky to get dates because after a while I quit using make up I always wore my hair up and instead of jeans I turned to sweats, needless to say it was horrid!  I hated walking into the school building and facing all the people male or female that ever made fun or said rude comments to my face or behind my back that I later learned about.  Still to this day whenever I see some of these people from my high school that I remember so vividly that broke me down I cringe and wish that I could curl up into a ball and just cry the pain away.  Somehow I made it through the horrible bullying and I am so thankful I did because now I can say I"m making something of my life and I have found love and waxing, Nair, Flat irons and curling irons, and cute clothes that make me feel so glamorous at times that I never think about those horrible days of high school.  I pray for all the families that have lost someone due to this bullying and I pray that others out there can find help or at least hold on because one day you will realize you are worth so much more than these people will ever realize!

Sad Day!

So for the past 17 days *Yes I said 17 days* I have been with my one and only love.  He left to go back for work and all that Jazz Friday afternoon and I cry a little everyday now that he is gone its kinda sorta depressing!  I feel like these past few days literally have been better than we have ever spent together in our relationship it was just so full of love and excitement!  My darling made me the happiest girl ever we played in a few poker tournaments, went to a Georgia game *Hairy Dawg Loves ME!* helped me through schoolwork and had a couple super special dinner dates! My love makes me so happy and I miss him so dearly but hopefully in less than a month we will see each other again and I can't wait to cherish that time together just as I did these past 17 days!  I got to take a few pictures and experiment with our camera some more in some gorgeous scenery that I will leave you with so enjoy!

Fashion in my mind...

Ok so I was a tomboy all through school and then I was set free in my Aunt's very feminine hands and let me tell you those ladies can shop! They planted a seed within me for fashion and make up and most of all shoes and purses. One major problem though that I have found, people in my area find the things I love insane. We are supposed to wear neutral things or either very southern Gone With The Wind and pearls. Don't get me wrong I love my heritage but I would rather dress Hollywood glam any day but I get the strangest looks if I do that in my area. So ladies my question to you is how do I accomplish my look without possibly drawing so much attention to me because frankly I am tired of the jeans and t-shirt look everyday to fit in I want to be able to draw out the beauties in my wardrobe without looking so completely out of place. Any suggestions? Plus I have a weekend trip coming up that I have no clue what to wear HELP! Enough venting for now tomorrow will be a better post with some beautiful pictures and some awesome quotes I must get back to blogging soon because I have so much to say but I feel like no time! Schedule making to commence once I post this blog!

So what's been going on lately?

I have been going to school with a full load its exhausting... and frankly uninteresting...

I painted my nails gunmetal and I'm sorta loving it but its not the color I'm feeling right now and I can't find that either...

Tomorrow I will probably post a picture...

Next I am drooling and I mean I need a bib drooling over a pair of Calvin Klein Over The Knee Boots...

I worked a golf tournament Friday that was supposed to be sexy beer cart girl that turned into bundled up ber cart girl but we made some great money for a great cause so I am happy!

Sorry for my long leave of absence but school has gotten so crazy hectic but I am back after a wonderful refreshing Fall Break at the beach and pictures will to be following tomorrow!

Top 2 Tuesday! Amazingness!

So Top 2 Tuesday!

This week it is Top 2 Indulgences...

So So Super Tough...
Biting my nails begins NOW!!!Ok but getting down to business..
1.)

Shoes!!!! I love them, all of them. Heels, wedges, tennis shoes, running shoes, pumps, and yes those beloved UGGs, and no Southern girl could live without her cowboy boots! So my latest purchase you may ask... well this picture is worth a thousand words in my opinion plus I'll add my two future purchases!


So my friend and I found these darling shoes $60 off of what they sell for so of course we yelled amazing I got this pair and she got the pair that I am about to post that I want next!

Absolute love them! I needed the black multi first for a wedding coming up that this will be my little splash of style and I can't wait to wear them!!! And next for winter I need to add another pair of UGGS to the closet with these cute little babies!



2.)

Super Cute/Comfy Undies!

Now this may sound crazy but my dad always told my mom to buy herself good undies that made her feel good and lasted longer than others and told her to raise her daughters that way! Well mom and dad I thank you because now Victoria's Secret loves to see me come in there store! No I don't go overboard but I don't run out for a while and I always shop whenever I have discount coupons so I stock up! But everything there makes me feel so sexy even if it's just a t-shirt bra and I love that feeling!



Don't get me wrong I could take out stock in their sweats and yoga pants too!

I loved doing this so much this week it got my mind off this crazy school week and crazy weekend ahead if just for a second. In December I'll have my Associates and ready to go elsewhere for my Bachelor degree and I can't wait! I'll try to get better at this I am now in the process of establishing a routine so it should be going smooth within the next week.

Can't wait to read more Top 2's this week!

School started for me yesterday...

Ughhhh sums it up about right...

Had to swap out a class today and waiting on books and just stressed in general...

Ready to get into full swing after this semester I will have my associates although it should be a bachelors..

And I will be able to write posts better after this semester or more professional!

The past few days in pictures!

Friday Fill-In I'm Back!

1. What is something you wished you’d learned to do earlier in life?

Cook, because I can only cook a few things and a few more with the help of Hamburger Helper so I'm tired of the same things over and over. Any advice ladies?

2. What is your biggest pet peeve with the military?

The uncertainty of scheduling. We had a big weekend trip planned about two weeks ago that got ruined. Yes I understand and no I'm not mad about it at all I respect when duty calls its just I hate bailing on people and sometimes they don't understand why because they don't live this lifestyle!

3. What tourist attraction near you have you never seen?

Well up here Michigan Adventures, but back home... I think I've seen them all except the things in the mountains... my family has never taken vacations to the mountains!

4. What are you avoiding doing right now?

Cleaning because I'm just too darn excited about going to get my camera but at least the dishes are halfway done before I made this post but soon I'll get back to it all!

5. Wine, beer or liquor?

Well this gets complicated. I used to like only liquor make me a Sex on the Beach and I was a happy lady all night long until I met my dear friend CA. Her dad created this craft brew and it is simply amazing! It is so smooth and crisp and no bitter after taste (yeah that taste that used to make me puke does not exists in this beer SWEET!) So yes now I can handle liquor and only and I mean only Those Guys Beer! If your curious that is the name of the beer!

TODAY is the DAY!!!!

So today I finally am going to get my camera and I cannot wait. (If you couldn't tell by the title!) As soon as J gets off work we are grabbing my friend and heading to the next town over and getting that beautiful sweet baby of mine to be! Of course tonight I already have an event to take pictures of as well so I really can't complain it all works out for the best! Can't wait to post some pictures but I will warn you that at first they will look rough but I am sure it will get better with time and practice. So I will update more tomorrow!

Camera Buying Craziness

So as some of you know we have been looking at buying a bigger and better quality camera. Well we finally have incentive to buy one because a friend gave us this coupon for $200 off sounds like a plan right? Well it is until you get there and it only takes $50 off. You just like me are wondering why I assume. It seems that this whole camera deal is a package deal and will be until the 14th of the month. One problem, the coupon expires on the 12th. So you're thinking $50 off what price. Well working the package deal discount and the $50 off it comes to $150 off which if 50 shy of what we would like it to be. So the hard thing is deciding what to do if we want we can buy it Friday or Saturday at the $150 off price or wait until Sunday to see if they discount it more or to see if the $200 off might take affect. My one concern is that what if it is more expensive and in the coupon there is some little detail that I haven't seen (and I have read the small print over and over more than 50 times at least.) I love love love this camera, bag, tripod, and extra lens set! All we have to add is another SD card and a few filters and I'm set to be taking some amazing pictures I have no doubt after all the spread sheets I've made we are no doubt set and happy with our decision but how can I know I am getting the best deal? You have to understand I'm not one to spend a ton of money on anything and this is a very expensive purchase I love it and would love to have it but I want the best deal for this amazing gift for J and me. Any advice would be welcome now to go nap again since I had a horrible nights sleep because today begins the day that we start packing my best friend to move an hour and a half away from me... SAD DAY!!!

Blahhhh....

So with school starting soon, trying to fix the schedule, editing pictures, buying books, and trying to stay strong for the man. Lets just say its been a rough few weeks at work. I'm going crazy! I want more time with him and it seems that won't happen for a while with a friends wedding coming up and him soon leaving for class as well as me when will we settle down? I feel like I'm going stir house crazy so I've been staying away from here but this is the one place that I created for myself to come vent. Lucky for me I have amazing friends with great taste in purses yes my friend gave me two practically new Jessica Simpson purses and a GUESS wallet... retail therapy who needs that? And we had a beer promotion to work which was a ton of fun! Her family created this brew and it is amazing (take it from me I hate beer but I can't get enough of this stuff and no I do not mean that in an alcoholic way it just isn't gross and makes tabs cheaper than my normal at bars.) So we had a great weekend and finally what the crew has been working so hard on is over so maybe he can rest a little better and we can spend our last few days together at least until the end of the month comes along. Also I feel like I have become some frugalista ( I get that from my mama!) I have been signing up for free coupons and trying to find sales everywhere I go to make the dollar stretch and the one thing I'm having a hard time with you ask. Finding an amazing camera, I really want to improve and learn this skill so that I can document things throughout our life together and also it makes for some great wall art I believe at a much lower price in the long run! I guess I just need to hold my head up, be prepared for all the changes coming our way, and work to be a better blogger because thats really why I created this blog in the first place! To read how other people get through and connect with people and there are so many great people out in blogland! Well that is all for today and I am almost done with the completed edits of my D.C. trip have I got the suspense up yet?

Ok sorry to blogland time has been crazy going to DC and a trip to the beach so I'm trying to wash clothes clean everything and get back into a routine so tonight I will make sure to write a blog to update EVERYTHING! 1. I leave Monday for my trip to D.C. and it's my first time ever going so I'm super excited about seeing our nations capitol and exploring plus ya'll can bet I will be taking a ton of pictures of course!

2. As silly as this sounds I have a formal to attend next weekend with my parents for our FRG and I get to get all dolled up I got a super cute new dress this week and am aiming towards old style Hollywood glam wish me luck and of course I'll post pictures for everyone!

3. Getting to spend precious time with my younger sister and teach her things its amazing to watch her grow and learn!

Quick Posts Thoughts and Prayers Apprectiated!

Ok so one thing after another this week.

First my dear friend old high school boyfriend (whom by the way I was such a good girl in school for the whole 4 on and off again years we dated we never did more than hug... thats right I never even kissed him... maybe thats how we have stayed such good friends...) anyways he was shot a few days ago overseas... I will not disclose locations... So he was scared to tell me yes I get it and all and I cried... silly maybe but he's alive but just prayers and thoughts requested because he broke his number 1 promise to me.... which was you ask... to come home without a scratch.... yes I knew it wasn't going to happen but geez... why get hurt so soon ya know... sorry for all the slang and dot dot dots but its been a long day and my mind is not working to be proper right now so if I offend you with my horrible grammar and bad blogging etiqutte well forgive me... other news please keep the families of the three lost Coast Guardsmen in your thoughts and prayers as well for those of you that don't know one of the Jayhawk helicopters crashed today only one survivor from the crash. This is sad news and my heart is breaking for their families. Also pray for our men and women overseas its just been a rough week so far and I hope and pray that it gets better! A more cheerful update planned for tomorrow because I've been horrible at doing great blogging so I'll have pictures and stories to tell I promise!

Top 2 Tuesday!!!

Top 2 Favorite Purchases I've Made This Year!

1.
I know this will sound silly but it had to be the putter I bought for J he is absolutely in love with it and I couldn't be happier for him! The only thing I think he didn't like was that it was wrapped in Victoria Secret pink tissue paper but it's all I had so a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do right?!?!?!?



2.
Now I'm going to sound like a kid but J and I got a Nintendo DS for the plane flights and long car rides well there is this game called SkipBo that my great-grandmother and I used to play together and playing it with other people just isn't the same but whenever i play it on the DS I feel like I can imagine I'm playing it with her. I know I'm sorta getting all sentimental and all but I was the only person that would ever play it with her so it means a lot to me!

So now I am off to work on more design ideas and sorting things and trying to pick out things I want to get rid of. It seems like a never ending process though if you ask me! So many clothes but so many I never wear anymore so what should I do? Off to make shopping lists as well and get ready to spend the next few days with my sister and mom! I'll blog more later because I have found some more cool things I want to try out in the blogging world!
